I didn’t think I’d get this addicted to a Gaia-esque social networking site. I just had to prove myself wrong. The site is like Gaia and Cyworld mixed into one. You start with an avatar called a “Selfy” which you can dress up. Your Selfy also has a room that it can hang out at with friends. You can also furnish that room. Furnishings and clothing require Chibi Coins which you can get by going around the community and doing some activities. For example, logging in can get you 5 coins per day, participating in polls can get you 20 coins, etc.

It’s pretty awesome. 3: You get 300 coins for signing up, and if you sign up under a referral, you get 200 more coins. 500 coins is enough to get you a full outfit and some furniture.

What also makes them captivating is that they have so much events going on at one time. They also have pets. Which I want and I will obtain eventually.

So I compel you to join me. Kinda. :c

…and chores. No Filipino (not even the halfies) can survive life without chores. Har. :c

I should take up writing again.

I mean, I got a bucket of water stored for when anyone needs to flush the toilet during the day. Then there’s pitchers of water in the fridge.

Yummy nummy Choco Crunchies!

Nomnomnomnom. Mother went to the Asian market on the far side of town and came back with two boxes of Choco Crunchies. I haven’t had these in years! I’m enjoying myself so much with each bite. Definitely.

Oh, that froggy is Pickles. He’s the frog army’s latest acquisition. 8D

New bangs for me. Ew.

I also promised pictures of the crappy bangs I gave myself. That was taken some week or so ago. No, I’m not getting a clearer picture until I get a few other things done with the rest of my hair…like trim out the split ends. I’ll have to go to a salon to have it done. Woe. Maybe a barber shop will do. Haha.

That’s probably the reason why it’s the bloodiest bruise of all. It bled under the skin so much that I was afraid I might have torn a vein or something. D: It was so bright red until two days ago. It’s healing now, though. The blood is draining (hopefully). But the bump is still there. Hm.. when I look at this bruise at an angle, it looks like a red Pacman. Haha. Is this normal? It’s like getting cuts in the shape of a smile. I remember Mother used to tell me my cuts are smiling at me every time I get them.

Anyway. I hope this goes away soon.

This half life focuses more on the literal meaning than the one involving isotopes and radioactivity. The meaning of which revolves around a person feeling like her life is incomplete because of an attachment to another person whom she can never be with, or ever have at all as a whole for, quite unfortunately, he doesn’t give her the time of day. Her sad devotion is near-blind that she doesn’t care that she knows about his infidelity. She is very, very aware of this, and [no matter how much she tries] she can’t let him go completely even when he eventually leaves.

The dramatic interpretation of the last verse is interesting.

Considering how the plot of the series has steered to the end of the world, I suppose she has had trouble writing the last book since the world didn’t really end at the year 2000. Then again, there’s still 2012. How creepy.

But still. Eleven years since the last book…!!! Eleven years waiting for closure with this teens book. >o>!

My psycho professor once mentioned to his class that communication was like a tennis match, or ping-pong. If you serve a ball, you’re expected to get it back. But what if there was nobody on the other side? Or what if that someone didn’t want to hit it back?

It was an easy answer, but my prof had to point it out to his class. Stop serving. What was the point of losing all your balls when you’re not getting them back?

But that also doesn’t mean you stop at the first serve, does it? If you do, that makes you an even dumber person.

But of course, humans are stupid creatures. They can’t strictly abide by that notion, no matter how hard they force themselves to. They can surely train themselves to do it, absolutely. But in the end…
