The List

I like frogs. …not only because they are green, but also because they look interesting. Frogs are amphibians, and nothing else looks like them. Straight from whatever picture you might have been smacked with, you can instantly blurt out, “frog.” Yes. The majority of their species’ greenness just happens to be a wonderful bonus.

Green is a very pleasing color. In varying shades, mixed with a little yellow or blue, come these interesting colors; sage, sea foam, lime, apple, grass, bamboo, aquamarine (though that may be a bit more blue than green). Green was also the color of my school uniform’s skirt—although I wasn’t quite fond of the modest shade. Still, I like nearly all shades of green, and then some.

I’m known by different people as Mirai, michan, michii, mimichii, monkey, etc. But my parents named me Migi. No, it is not a nickname, not short for Miguel. No, it is not Miggy. I don’t see why anyone would bother to lengthen a name in this ‘oMg lyK yA!‘ era, deliberately long nicknames aside. (Era? Generation?)

This picture just happens to be the embodiment of myself, according to two friends.
