Bruises (Part 2)

I’m proud to say that I have gone a full week without getting any bruises! Yay! The big one on my right knee is healing very slowly though. It’s the one I got for banging into the table leg repeatedly while painting. My knee was probably trying to get retribution against the table leg, but it’s so dumb that it hurt itself twice.

That’s probably the reason why it’s the bloodiest bruise of all. It bled under the skin so much that I was afraid I might have torn a vein or something. D: It was so bright red until two days ago. It’s healing now, though. The blood is draining (hopefully). But the bump is still there. Hm.. when I look at this bruise at an angle, it looks like a red Pacman. Haha. Is this normal? It’s like getting cuts in the shape of a smile. I remember Mother used to tell me my cuts are smiling at me every time I get them.

Anyway. I hope this goes away soon.

Sometimes with bruises, if you want to disperse the redness/color, you rub the edge of a quarter on it tightly since the entire bruise is just blood clots. It also helps it heal faster.

I use my finger, only with less pressure because of the soreness. XD It’s helping a little though; the blood is draining gradually. The bruise is shaped like a crescent moon now.
