‘Coz you’re my sunset

I don’t get that line. Is it a compliment to be told you’re someone’s sunset?

The only thing I can think of from the word is an ending. So does that mean that the person is basically saying the other is his/her doom?

I’m probably thinking too much into things again. Hm.

But isn’t it sad (or condemning, really) to be told that you’re the death of that person?

I certainly wouldn’t want to trouble anyone to that extent.

(On a different note, I got to stay up tonight.. or rather, I couldn’t sleep. I want to put my blanket back in the washer.)
