A lot of things happened in 2008 both in my personal life and the world; more than the things that happened in 2007. Many things were started in my life despite my reluctance to go with it; most of which were beyond my control anyway.
Isn’t it scary? Exciting?
I really do have a sick fascination with finding scary things exciting. What will I do in 2009…

I think that will be my New Year’s resolution to starve myself to resemble a balding stick with bad skin and a bloated stomach.

The adjusted dresses came in, and my cousin and I finally have our own measurements in our own dresses. It’s a pretty color. My cousin and I switched shoes and the red shoes matched pretty well with my red dress too and champagne with my cousin’s champagne dress.
In my cousin’s words, “Bit too late for that!”
I like the colors either way.
You know you’ve gotten fatter when people around you comment on how you’ve lost weight.
You know the situation is dire when you desperately need to use concealer to hide the mosquito bites.
You know all hope is lost when you can’t find the makeup that won’t turn into an icky goo on your oily face.
